Castaway’s Seafood & Grill

Located in the heart of Port Aransas with a quaint courtyard and great shops right on site. Castaway’s prides itself on hand battered fried seafood made to order, whether it’s your catch or ours. Over the years, the menu has expanded to offer something for everyone; from corn dogs and chicken strips for the little sailors to Angus Rib Eyes and pasta dishes. We freshly bake the breads for our Po-Boys daily, make an excellent Gumbo, and serve the BEST, shell on, Jumbo Grilled Shrimp, seasoned with our own secret “Chef’s Choice” seasoning. Also, you must try the fried oysters; they’re always a fan favorite! In terms of the restaurant itself, it’s been tabbed as a nice option for both families with children,  large groups and even private parties. In addition to its convenient take-out menu, the restaurant even provides catering for events around town. Or, if you just want to stop by for a beverage, the restaurant has a full bar; inside and outside as well. Ask about a “Allotta Colada” -top shelf rums served in a fresh pineapple!
